Quiet Clean NOVA works to protect communities and workers from the air pollution, harm to the environment, and overwhelming noise emitted from gas-powered leaf blowers by promoting electric landscaping equipment and sustainable lawn-care practices.
Quiet Clean NOVA is a grassroots group founded in February 2021 by AP journalist Joan Lowy whom we lost to cancer August 2023. Joan’s enthusiasm and astute leadership is badly missed by our group.
